The number of participants exceeded the required number, while the range of the audience was in accordance with the project’s requirements, including local and migrant students from Cyprus’ public and private universities, academics from these universities, as well as other relevant stakeholders. After welcoming the attendees and before presenting anything on the project, the coordinator asked from them to access the Intercultural Competence Assessment Online Tool developed by the project as its second deliverable through their mobile phones and assess themselves on their intercultural skills. Consequently, the attendees were introduced to the project, its objectives, and its ongoing and upcoming activities, with focus on the deliverables that were about to be presented. First, it was explained to them how the tool that they had just used was developed and then, they reviewed along with the coordinator the results of the first deliverable of the project, the Consolidated European Report on Common Forms of Hate Speech Online (Social Media) and Offline (Face to Face), with the use of relevant graphs facilitating the results’ representation. Upon completion of the presentation, the attendees had the chance to ask questions on the project and then, to get to know each other and exchange views in a friendly environment.
